Role Overview

As a Senior Tendering Engineer, you will be responsible for tendering projects for the Major Projects division, including DNO contestable works (33kV to 132kV) and renewable energy balance of plant works (DC/LV up to 132kV). The role offers a competitive salary, car allowance, and up to 2 days per week working from home.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets client standards and customer requirements.

• Tender multiple major projects, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards.

• Control costing schemes and quotations, identifying commercial opportunities.

• Produce front-end programmes for tenders and manage project handovers.

• Attend site surveys and establish strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• Degree, HNC, HND in an electrical-related subject (desirable).
• Experience with Microsoft Project and CAD (desirable).
• ICP experience at 66kV and above or renewables experience (BESS/Solar/Wind).
• Knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation, and technical advances.
• Proactive time management and self-motivation.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices and Risk Assessment processes.
