Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee the contractual and financial aspects of our projects. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards, as well as managing various project-related agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts related to construction and electrical projects.
- Compliance: Ensure all contracts, procurements, and agreements adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
- Financial Management: Handle invoicing, financial documentation, and payment processes for projects, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Negotiations and Support: Support the commercial team in negotiations and meetings with suppliers and clients, providing detailed analysis and evaluations of contracts.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure all commercial activities are accurately recorded.
- Risk Management: Manage risks associated with contracts and commercial operations, mitigating potential issues.
- Legal Coordination: Work closely with legal advisors to ensure all contracts and dealings are legally sound and in the best interest of the company.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the construction or electrical sectors.
- Experience and knowledge around 33kV-400kV Substation builds (desirable)
- Strong understanding of financial and legal standards related to contract management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
