Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our clients team in Scotland. As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee multiple Project Managers leading teams in the installation and construction of electrical power distribution and transmission systems ranging from 11kV to 132kV. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring project success and team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to Project Managers and teams to ensure project success.

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including site supervision when necessary.

Efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently while overseeing the Project Managers.

Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide developmental feedback to direct reports.

Manage and deploy resources effectively for upcoming project works.

Produce comprehensive project documentation, including as-built records, test results, and reports.

What we're looking for:

We're seeking experienced Project Managers with a strong commitment to leadership, quality, and delivery. Key qualifications and skills include:

HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Sound operational knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.

Site safety passport and/or experience working on CDM sites.

SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred but not essential.

Possession of SSE DNO authorization or equivalent is desirable.
