The Role

We're seeking a Scheduler/Programmer to join their team in Bolton. In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind scheduling main laying installations and service connections for housing developments across the Northwest. 

With full accountability for program aspects of all works, you'll ensure their teams are strategically positioned to meet client deadlines and optimize productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the mains and service program, from client request to job completion.
  • Schedule works efficiently to meet internal KPIs, optimizing travel routes and productivity.
  • Identify works requiring noticing to their streetworks team, ensuring compliance with NRSWA regulations and client deadlines.
  • Provide clients with clear program dates once confirmed.
  • Deliver weekly reports, ensuring KPIs and objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to forecast work volumes and maintain resource levels.
  • Embrace teamwork and adapt to ongoing changes in the industry.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude towards customer and client interactions.
  • Ideally, previous experience in Utilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a thirst for knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and administrative support.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work as part of a team.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and deadline management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
