Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Jointing Supervisor to join our client’s operational team. This pivotal position involves overseeing the installation of utility networks, managing both the construction teams and customer relations to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, specification, and satisfaction.

 

This role is suited to experienced jointers looking to step into a supervisory role or electrical engineers with a background in the utilities sector.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of sub-station installations, including connection and commissioning.
  • Manage High Voltage (HV) underground and overhead line diversions.
  • Generate and review work instructions to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Conduct quality and safety audits for jointing activities.
  • Efficiently manage materials and assist in the scheduling of jointing team operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, ensuring a high level of service.

 

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience within the utility environment, particularly in electrical installation works.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A customer-focused approach, capable of working under pressure.
  • Desirable qualifications include First Aid, Electric SHEA, NRSWA, or a background in a similar role within the utility sector.
