Role Overview: 

The tendering Engineer role is a pivotal position within this ICP. it’s centred around managing customer inquiries, orders, and compiling multi-utility tenders for their most pivotal and challenging projects. The scopes will include the customer-owned ‘High Voltage’ electrical networks, Primary iDNO substations, associated Grid connections and alike.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake design, proposal, and estimating for tender projects in multi-utilities.
• Support the Regional Sales & Tendering Manager and Senior Engineer as needed.
• Prioritize and complete tender projects within set timeframes, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Proactively manage risks during tender creation.
• Meet individual project tendering goals and contribute to the company's overall sales target.
• Maintain Sales/Project Handover documentation in line with the company’s Business Management System (BMS).
• Engage in Continual Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Requirements:

• Desire to learn, apply skills, and succeed.
• Experience in a utility/construction/services engineering sales environment.
• Proven record of achieving sales targets.
• Knowledge of tendering in MEICA/Utility Technical Construction and/or T&D networks.
• Design development and robust quotation experience.
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency, including Microsoft Project.
