Role Overview
The Project Manager role is a dynamic and pivotal position within our client's growing Operations team. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects across the UK, serving as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. The role is ideal for a self-starter with a background in project management within the electrical industry, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement project planning, milestone and scope management, and resource forecasting.
- Maintain accurate project records and governance controls.
- Design and update work programs for assigned projects.
- Provide regular operational and commercial updates and reports.
- Oversee project costs and financial management.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team for project feedback and insights.
- Commit to sustainable project delivery focusing on safety and competency.
- Make timely decisions, considering their implications and identifying solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience in project management within the electrical industry.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong decision-making skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in managing cross-programme dependencies and change control methods.
- Excellent communication skills and agility in working with diverse teams.
- Willingness to conduct site visits and audits as necessary
