Role Overview

The Multi Utility Project Delivery Manager position involves leading and overseeing operational construction activities within the East or South Midlands area. The role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration of best working practices and achieving business objectives effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers, overseeing multi-utility project portfolios.
  • Coordinate pre-construction activities, liaising with estimating and design teams for project understanding.
  • Engage with developer contract managers and technical engineers for project coordination.
  • Develop construction plans to facilitate timely utility installations and connections.
  • Monitor project progress, advising on and implementing necessary changes.
  • Enhance productivity and commercial performance through effective planning and control.
  • Uphold SHEQ standards and demonstrate business and customer excellence.
  • Conduct and oversee audit schedules, maintaining company image and core values.

 

Requirements:

  • Understanding and management experience in multi-utility operations.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing utility connection projects.
  • Effective communication skills across various levels.
  • Motivated to improve business processes for client and business benefit.
  • Commercial awareness and proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Organizational skills in managing site works from an HSQE and commercial perspective.
  • Relevant certifications (NRSWA Streetworks, SMSTS/CSCS Card) are preferred.
  • Desirable qualifications include Gas/Water NCO 2, IOSH or similar, Management qualification, and a full driving license.
