SHEQ Advisor / Very Flexible working
Our client is a leader in connecting the future through the design, installation, and maintenance of utility infrastructure. With a focus on teamwork, ambition, integrity, customer satisfaction, and safety, they are experiencing significant year-on-year growth and are currently looking for an enthusiastic SHEQ Advisor to join their Health and Safety team in their Slough office.
The Role:
As a SHEQ Advisor, you'll play an essential role in upholding and advancing the standards, policies, and procedures of our client and its customers. Your background in a SHEQ/Health and safety capacity within the utilities or construction sector will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Ensuring Compliance: Ensure all work is executed in line with our client's standards, policies, and procedures, and in accordance with current legislation.
Implementing Plans: Develop and enforce SHEQ plans, policies, and procedures.
Site Inspections: Carry out SHEQ site inspections and audits.
Site Paperwork: Support the preparation of essential documentation, including Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Inductions, and Toolbox Talks.
Incident Handling: Assist with incident reporting and investigation.
Sub-Contractor Monitoring: Manage sub-contractor monitoring and approval, ensuring alignment with business policies.
Meetings: Attend SHEQ and site meetings.
Health & Safety Management: Manage Health & Safety on all sites across the company.
Program Monitoring: Review and monitor Health & Safety programs.
