Voltages range from 11kV to 132kV with project values extending up to £8m per scheme.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to help design contestable connections up to 132kV for a broad range of end clients and industries. You’ll benefit from the support of an excellent team, an attentive line manager and a well distributed workload.

You’ll work closely with colleagues from the civil design team, the protection and control engineers and external clients / landowners and see the project through from initial design to project completion giving full exposure to all parts of the process.

Experience

• 5+ years experience in undertaking 132kV designs for electrical connections to UK requirements
• Degree or similar electrical qualification
• AutoCad
• Earthing design
• Electrical Studies (P28, P29, G5/4 etc),
• Protection and AC/DC schematics
• Cable sizing

Reward

• Up to £50k - £60k basic salary
• 25 days + Bank Holidays
