Role Overview

As an EV Project Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the installation of EV charging infrastructure. In this role, you will lead a team of Cable Jointers and other technicians / civils teams to ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. If you are an expert in cable jointing and possess strong leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation of cabling and substations for EV charging stations.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Supervise and direct a team of cable jointers, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of project activities, including progress reports, safety records, and as-built drawings.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, addressing any challenges or obstacles that arise during the project.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Participate in regular project meetings and provide updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical qualification
  • Prior experience in cable jointing, with a focus on high-voltage and/or EV charging infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of successfully supervising and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, cable installation techniques, and industry best practices.
  • NRSWA (Streetworks) qualification is highly desirable.
