They’re a tier 1 contractor to DNOs across the UK and have major framework contracts in place for the maintenance and development of their 11kv - 33kv networks.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cable Jointing Supervisor. You will oversee all aspects of cable jointing operations across the company, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and leading a team of cable jointers, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standard.
• Managing the cable jointing program, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately to meet project deadlines.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure that all work is completed safely and to the required standard.
• Liaising with the project manager to provide updates on project progress and identify any issues that may arise.
• Ensure operatives have the correct authorisation to work on projects and ensure enough work has been scheduled with satisfactory detail as part of their work instruction
• Provide support for the company’s training and development plan including the delivery of training courses and briefings

Requirements:

• HV / LV authorised, preferably with ENWL
• Valid EUSR or CSCS Card
• Valid First Aid qualification
• Knowledge of relevant DNO Policies and Procedures
• Safety Passport CSCS for SHEA Power

Benefits:

• £60,000 - £65,000
