They’re a tier 1 contractor to DNOs across the UK and have major framework contracts in place for the maintenance and development of their 11kv - 33kv networks.

Role:

The Cable Jointer will act as an expert in cable jointing, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out cable jointing and network energisation activities on both development sites and public highways. They will be required to work with the general public, and must have knowledge of utility plans and the installation of electrical connections.

Requirements:

• Cable Jointer qualification or equivalent
• Valid EUSR or CSCS Card
• Valid First Aid qualification
• Knowledge of relevant DNO Policies and Procedures
• Sound HV and LV electrical knowledge
• Clean driving licence
• Flexibility to carry out standby duties and attend short notice work
• Understanding of sustainability and health and safety
