The Role
As a Fibre Project Manager, you will oversee all day-to-day operations within the communications division on specifically assigned projects and/or framework contracts that provide Fibre Optic installations and maintenance to the Telecoms industry.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre and post tender meetings and provide feedback to the estimating department;
- Attend company progress reviews and operational meetings;
- Regular site visits and progress reviews with designated Project Managers;
- Promote and implement company policies and procedures;
- Promote the services of the business whilst carrying out your duties to assist in creating new business;
- Show leadership, management, development and motivational skills;
- Maintain an up to date understanding of technical, contractual and commercial developments.
Requirements
- CITB or equivalent in site safety management;
- CSCS and/or EURS card;
- Minimum 5 years in similar management position;
- Minimum 10 years in telecommunication industry (advantageous if in Fibre Optic installation services);
- Competent use of MS Office and Fibre test emulation software;
