My client is a leading multi-utility infrastructure provider that has thousands of connections across the UK. 

You’ll join a business that is continuously expanding and winning many exciting projects in the electrical, gas, water and EV sectors of the utilities industry. 

The Role

As a Cable Jointer, you’ll work on LV and HV projects within the company's electrical sector. 

You’ll join a team that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and have many opportunities to progress within the business.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical underground works which range from new connections to repairing faults;
• Connect LV/HV up to 33KV;
• Deliver the job within company time frames;
• Carry out risk assessments and maintain safe working practices;
• Liaise with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the timely delivery of all projects. 

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Cable Jointer or Cable Jointers mate;
• Understanding of DNO, IDNO and ICP connections; 
• Relevant accreditations for working on LV and HV connections
