This company have completed many high profile projects within the electrical, water and wastewater, heating, cooling and hot water sectors of the industry. 

The Role

We are looking for a LV Authorised Person to join the company's Operations Team. You'll be responsible for all electrical adoptions from DNOs as required by the Project Delivery Team and be in charge of any Point of Connection (POC) works within the business. 

You'll be a leading member of the team, responsible for ensuring all company safety rules are followed with regular site audits undertaken. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure all company policies, procedures and distribution safety rules are followed in connection with all works and projects;
• Carry-out live electrical energisation activities on new equipment owned by the company and any controlled sites/assets;
• Issue safety documentation on company owned and controlled electrical networks;
• Ensure all Single Line Diagram (SLD's) associated with new connections are validated and new equipment is correctly identified and labelled;
• Carry-out dead testing and pre-energisation inspections ensuring all are completed and signed off under Safety Rules and in line with Health and Safety regulations;

Requirements

• Previous experience working in an Electricity Supply, Distribution, Operation and Maintenance Industry with Low Voltage safety management knowledge;
• Good knowledge of the general utility industry;
• Current or previous LV electrical authorisations within a DNO, IDNO, ICP or other Power Distribution contractors;
• HV switching to 11kv or 33kv;
• Previous experience of the operation of Electrical Utility Assets;
