The Role

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for converting hand drawn plans into CAD designs with knowledge of gas pipework and electrical cables plotted throughout. 

You’ll report directly to CAD Manager and report any issues to ensure that the projects run smoothly and to schedule. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings from hand drawn plan designs;
• Highlight gas pipework and electrical cable routes to ensure work can be carried out accurately;
• Report any issues to the CAD Manager to ensure that work can be completed within the time frame and to budget. 

Requirements

• Previous CAD experience in a utilities industry;
• Competent use of design softwares such as AutoCAD, Matlab etc.
• Ability to use Microsoft packages such as Teams, Word, Excel etc.

Benefits

• £25,000 - £30,000 salary (dependent on experience);
