The Company

The leading local alternative network for Full Fibre broadband in the South East, where the existing broadband network is. The broadband network has the ability to supply everyone with multi Gigabits with uploads as well as download.

A community orientated network operator, whose aim is to significantly upgrade local regions broadband infrastructures.

The Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for approx 20 employees (through line managers) and up to 30 gangs (through contractors/ supervisors).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality fibre network to budget and timescale
• Manage the teams responsible for:
• Network design at top level, active cab level, passive cab level to premises passed including the fibre design
• Programme management from cab level to street level
• Civil supervision
• Cabling 
• Splicing
• Customer installations
• Manage the contractors to ensure deliver the required meterage at the right quality and to budget
• Engagement with East Sussex Highways to ensure partnership works for both parties
• Ensure health & safety standards are maintained through all teams
• Communication with the senior management team

Skills and Experience

• Detailed knowledge of civils works in public highways and footways with appropriate qualifications
• Programme management
• Excellent communication
• Knowledge of PIA protocols
• Team building
• NRSWA supervisor (S1-S7)
• Previous of experience of successfully building a fibre network
