Leading UK ICP with circa 20 years experience looking to further broaden it's offering.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of a portfolio of projects in the UK with a focus on safety, on time delivery, quality, margin improvement and cashflow , providing direction to the team
  • Ensure appropriate delivery models are in place for the range of, type and size of projects being tendered and implemented in segments including high density housing and non-generation asset connections.
  • Be an active part of the operating unit leadership team developing strategy, leading cultural change and building capability
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to help secure new orders and successfully deliver them
  • Drive enhanced safety performance across the business in order to implement a robust QHSE regime aligned with the Group Policy to provide a safe place for people to work
  • Provide accurate monthly (project) forecasts to the business for Revenues, Gross Margin and Cash flow

Business:

  • Responsible and Accountable for all activities and customer interfaces within a region from initial enquiry through to adoption of schemes.
  • Working with your management team establish, practices to maximise value across all projects.
  • Ensure the business understands the Customer’s needs and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Ensure subcontract services and direct labour deliver projects safely and working with the management team, establish supply strategies to maximise value across all projects.
  • Understand the market’s growth opportunities and working with the management team, develop commercial strategies and practices to exploit and develop the businesses market’s position.
  • Be responsible for the growth and development of all personnel assigned to the region, and where appropriate make further recommendations for the development of the regions service provision.

Change:

  • Identify and consider the implications for change and facilitate the formulation of Business plans which quantify and manage business risks.
  • To act as a change agent, supporting change initiatives whilst driving towards a desired organisational culture and supporting values.
  • Champion initiatives across the region, gaining acceptance from key stakeholders, challenging inappropriate behaviour and coaching managers in people management issues.

People/Team work

  • Leads the team from enquiry through to adoption
  • Responsible for performance management and disciplinary issues of their direct reports.
  • Ensure that all members of the team have a PDP and KPI’s
  • Provide management coaching on the development of quality based business processes, to ensure the growth in the regions customer service performance.
  • Work with the management team to proactively identify and influence changes to improve business services and processes.

Quality

  • Provide management coaching on the development of quality based business processes, to ensure the growth in the regions customer service performance.
  • Ensure that the region further develops capabilities to support its business level accreditations, design and construction standards, and in so doing maximising its customer service performance.
