Working to support a tutelage of skilled  staff across the company with the sales of electrical connection projects at 11kV and 33kV.

The Role

The successful candidate will have a key role in growing and driving sales, as well as delivering business activity to the housing, as well as the industrial and commercial new build market sector. You will apply your networking skills to build relationships with new customers. 

You will build relationships with key existing and potential clients, securing repeat business opportunities. You will influence the growth of the business and be rewarded with a generous salary, benefits and comprehensive bonus scheme.. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading and attending high level sales meetings.
  • Working with marketing to produce successful promotion of products and services.
  • Actively contribute to the creation of new products and services. 
  • Build and develop professional relationships with new and existing clients
  • Ensure efficient & effective use of marketing to aid the promotion of the business and its sales
  • Conduct regular meetings with individual BDMs to review sales activity in their area, attend sales presentations to support and assess the company's effectiveness.
  • Set and monitor performance of sales team in line with key performance indicators 

Experience / Key Attributes 

  • Sales experience within the electrical connections or multi utilities industry
  • Experience leading a team of BDMs
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at board level
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Successfully manage a portfolio of customers with a total commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Achieve targets, KPIs and SLAs
