Working to support a tutelage of skilled  staff across the company with the sales of electrical connection projects at 11kV and 33kV.

The role:

You would be adhering to clients requests on a daily basis, providing support to the Project Manager and the BDM. You would need to provide tendering and engineering support to the major projects team from an initial enquiry till the contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Produce compliant drawings based on standard designs in accordance with customer and DNO/IDNO requirements/constraints.
• Understand and apply G81 design standards.
• Communicate requirements with suppliers and manage responses.
• Working with the BDM and Project Manager provide tendering support .
• Ensure that all relevant Safety, Construction specifications & technical data are available.
• Ability to escalate problems in a timely manner to minimise business exposure.

Qualifications/ experience:

• Candidates with Extra High Voltage Tendering
• Experience using and proficient with AutoCAD
• UK full driving licence
• Must have knowledge and experience of electrical distribution and have an engineering background, preferably with previous experience with a Distribution Network Operator (DNO), Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) and/or an Independent Connections Provider (ICP)
• Primary Substations experience
