About the Role
The Planning Engineer will liaise with internal and external parties to design multi-utility networks for new housing, mixed-use, and industrial and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Undertake demand calculations, network drawings and variations and to ensure network designs are fit for purpose, legislatively compliant and in accordance with Company and industry standards.
● Design innovative engineering solutions that satisfy both our customer needs and the needs of internal stakeholders - provide lowest cost for greatest benefit.
● Liaise with our clients to understand the requirements and constraints on their projects.
● Calculate contract variation costs and produce variation orders for clients.
● Attend meetings with Clients, Network Operators, and other companies as required.
● Achieve high customer satisfaction with our design / variation processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering Qualification
- Experience in a design related role in the construction or Utilities sector.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD & GIS (geographical Information Systems).
- NB: Graduates with an Engineering Qualification are strongly encouraged to apply for this role.
