About the Role
We are looking for an Electrical Planning Engineer to provide design and technical support for new connection works and low-carbon technology (LCT) assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake network demand calculations and design Points of Connection (POCs) for new connections
- Conduct network export calculations for embedded generation applications in line with ENA G98 & G99
- Liaise with DNOs, ICPs, and internal teams to progress designs and manage customer requirements
- Use systems and databases to maintain accurate records and support project delivery
- Assist in improving processes and efficiency within the team
- Ensure work is completed accurately, on time, and complies with company and regulatory standards
- Participate in a standby rota as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Academic qualifications in English, Mathematics, and at least one Science
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Excellent verbal communication skills
