Role Overview

Responsible for managing the commercial performance of a DNO electrical framework, delivering works including network upgrades, reinforcements, and new connections across LV/HV infrastructure. The role involves full lifecycle commercial management within a high-volume utilities environment.

Key Responsibilities

• NEC3 / NEC4 contract management from tender to final account
• Commercial management of multiple projects/frameworks
• CVR reporting, cost control, and forecasting
• Early Warnings and Compensation Events management
• Subcontractor procurement and account management
• Variations, valuations, and final accounts
• Cash flow management and applications for payment
• Commercial input into tenders and bids
• Client liaison and KPI management
• Lead and develop the commercial team (2 Quantity surveyors)

Requirements

• Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor experience
• Strong NEC3 / NEC4 knowledge
• Utilities, civil engineering, or infrastructure background
• Experience managing high-volume, low-value projects
• Team leadership experience preferred
