They have secured investment to deliver Fibre Only, Wholesale Only, Gigabit Broadband to more than 500,000 underserved premises by 2025.

The Role

As the Surveyor / Auditor, the successful candidate will be reporting directly into the Build Manager. You will be joining a modern, very fast paced and exciting business with tender to grow and lots to get stuck into.

Responsibilities

• Bringing the desktop plan to life with physical requirements
• Communicate with the Planning team in order to get the finest design in place and ready for build
• Work closely with the Build team, ensuring the design is fit for purpose, the most cost efficient and the best quality
• Work closely with SubContractors to ensure the design is clear and understood
• Accountable for checking As Builts against the original design
• Use GIS knowledge and experience to help achieve an industry leading network design

Skills and Experience

• 2+ years experience in a surveying role with evidence of understanding Planning Fibre Networks or build of FTTP Networks
• GIS experience
• Understanding of the Openreach dust and pole and how it is made up
• Knowledge of the PIA product
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Excellent commercial and business awareness
• Have direct exposure in the telecoms industry, with a track record of continuous improvement in value and cost - Understanding of the use and value of services within civils/contractors
