About the Role:
To support the Water Asset Team in the field, ensuring high-quality construction of the water network, safe and wholesome drinking water for customers, and a resilient infrastructure across Basingstoke, Farnborough, Guildford, West London, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the escalation point to liaise with developers / customers and contractors.
- Engage with site stakeholders where possible during both planned and unplanned incidents.
- Ensure that the quality and integrity of the network is maintained as part of a structured audit strategy.
- Audit and assess construction activities related to water mains.
- Support customers onsite through diagnostics or observation ensure compliance to relevant legislation surrounding the activity.
- Ensure that all assets comply with the technical and regulatory standards.
- Undertake water sampling following an outage.
- To attend meetings with site and construction personnel.
- To complete internal and external pressure and flow readings
