About the Role:
The purpose of this position is to test, chlorinate and take samples to facilitate the commissioning of new Water Networks across England and Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe working practices at all times in line with the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974), including correct use of PPE.
- Carry out testing, chlorination, sampling, and commissioning of water infrastructure in accordance with water authority procedures to support final and secondary connections.
- Follow approved method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures to ensure high safety and technical standards.
- Accept, inspect, and verify plant, materials, vehicles, and equipment are fit for purpose, reporting defects promptly.
- Identify and report contract variations early in line with company procedures.
- Complete daily site-specific risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment.
- Accurately record work completed and submit required information for reporting and invoicing within agreed timescales.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience:
- Water Safety Passport / Water Hygiene Card / SHEA Water or similar
- Experience in the water industry
- Full driving licence (essential)
- Willingness to participate in a standby rota
