About the Role:
This role is responsible for the delivery, redistribution, and collection of materials and plant to construction sites in a timely and efficient manner, supporting multi-utility engineering teams. The position also assists the Stores Manager with accepting and managing external deliveries in line with company policies and safety standards.
This position covers the Royal Tunbridge Wells region.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and collect plant and materials to and from construction sites.
Ensure all deliveries are checked for fitness and compliance prior to issue.
Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment to required safety standards.
Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety procedures.
Participate in toolbox talks and required training sessions.
Support multi-utility teams with cable laying and site activities as needed.
Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Regional Construction Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience:
CSCS Card or equivalent
Cable winching and cable laying qualifications
Manual handling experience
Valid driving licence (essential)
Desirable:
NRSWA certificate
First Aid qualification
Previous construction site experience
