About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead multiple new connection utility projects of varying sizes within the specified South West Region for a mixture of clients. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, delivering all objectives and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage works in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
  • Plan and schedule onsite/offsite works and connections with the construction support team.
  • Order materials and equipment to correct specifications and design.
  • Forecast resources with the Regional Manager to ensure project delivery.
  • Promote a culture of Health, Safety, and Quality on all projects.
  • Prepare project-specific RAMS and submit to clients in advance.
  • Manage project financials, including margin, cash flow, cost variations, and invoicing.
  • Prepare and communicate project reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, GTs, IGTs, and Water Companies for final connections.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in utilities, construction, or similar sectors.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities.
  • Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded with project, financial, and contract management experience.
  • Logical thinker with creative problem-solving ability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • SMSTS qualification
  • Street Works supervisor qualification
  • HNC in engineering or similar discipline

Benefits:

Car Alloawnce - £6750 

Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
