About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead multiple new connection utility projects of varying sizes within the specified South West Region for a mixture of clients. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, delivering all objectives and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage works in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
- Plan and schedule onsite/offsite works and connections with the construction support team.
- Order materials and equipment to correct specifications and design.
- Forecast resources with the Regional Manager to ensure project delivery.
- Promote a culture of Health, Safety, and Quality on all projects.
- Prepare project-specific RAMS and submit to clients in advance.
- Manage project financials, including margin, cash flow, cost variations, and invoicing.
- Prepare and communicate project reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with clients, DNOs, IDNOs, GTs, IGTs, and Water Companies for final connections.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in utilities, construction, or similar sectors.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service abilities.
- Strong IT skills and attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with project, financial, and contract management experience.
- Logical thinker with creative problem-solving ability.
Desirable Qualifications:
- SMSTS qualification
- Street Works supervisor qualification
- HNC in engineering or similar discipline
Benefits:

Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
