The Client

A forward-thinking Independent Connection Provider (ICP) delivering LV and HV infrastructure across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Their work includes new connections and large-scale upgrades with DNOs, IDNOs, and private networks.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced LV Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Low Voltage infrastructure projects. You’ll oversee technical, commercial, and operational aspects to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes.

This is a key leadership role within our ICP team, requiring strong knowledge of electricity networks. Ideal for someone with hands-on operational experience and confidence in managing teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver LV infrastructure projects on time, within scope and budget
  • Coordinate with DNOs/IDNOs, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Manage project costs, budgets, variations, and forecasts
  • Lead site teams with a focus on safety, performance, and compliance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and changes
  • Act as the main client contact throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure adherence to DNO/ICP regulations, CDM, and H&S standards
  • Support commercial negotiations and contract variations
  • Mentor junior project team members and promote continuous improvement
  • Drive delivery performance against KPIs (time, cost, safety, quality, customer satisfaction)

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering LV electricity infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of UK electrical regulations, CDM, and NRSWA
  • Experience with project coordination within a DNO, IDNO, or ICP environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and the ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercially astute with the ability to manage budgets and contracts

Desirable

  • Project management qualifications (APM PMQ, PRINCE2, MSP)
  • Understanding of Ofgem frameworks (e.g., RIIO-ED2)
  • Hands-on operational background in LV electrical works
