About the Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Analyst will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights and supporting financial performance across all multi-utility projects. You’ll work closely with quantity surveyors, project managers, and operational teams to optimise planning, procurement, and delivery processes. This is a high-impact role suited to someone with strong analytical capabilities, commercial awareness, and a desire to influence business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and report data across finance, procurement, operations and commercial teams
  • Streamline processes in areas such as Work in Progress (WIP) and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
  • Produce KPI dashboards and reporting packs to track performance and targets
  • Oversee commercial controls across live projects, ensuring governance and accuracy
  • Maintain and manage asset value records across all ongoing developments
  • Support pricing strategy, budget control, and cost analysis in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Assist with system implementation, including data migration and new process design
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong analytical skills, with high proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is an advantage
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, especially when handling financial or technical data
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to present insights accessibly
  • Proactive, inquisitive mindset with a desire to learn and improve
  • Team player who can also work independently when required
  • Desirable: experience in a commercially focused or data-driven role within utilities, construction, or infrastructure
