About the role:

The Jointer’s Mate/Apprentice will support the High Voltage Jointer/Fitter in installing, maintaining, and repairing high voltage cables (up to 33kV) and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Jointer in installing and connecting high voltage cables up to 33kV.
• Assist the Jointer with maintenance and repairs of cables, switchgear, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
• Help the Jointer diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions to fix issues.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies while assisting the Jointer on site.

What we are looking for:

• Recognized qualification within Electrical or High Voltage Jointing/Fitting.
• Valid JIB CSCS Card.

Note: Candidates without work experience will be considered if they show a strong desire to become a Jointer’s Mate and have a relevant qualification, as the client is willing to train and develop committed candidates.
