Description

Working on new Connection Projects (including EV charging, battery storage, renewables, hybrid) throughout the UK, the key duties of this role include

• Producing reports and Design submissions to DNO requirements
• Contestable substation schemes mainly at 11kV and 33kV
• Reviewing technical submissions and support the estimating department at bid stage 
• Underground HV and LV cable systems Private networks (11kV and 33kV) 
• Earthing and Protection systems 
• A selection of switchgear 

Requirements 

• HNC minimum qualified in an Electrical Engineering Discipline
• IEng with IET 
• Knowledge of British Standards and G81's 
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) 
• Being able to produce P28 and G54 studies 
• Knowledge of DNO, IDNO, ICP, LV and 11kV design requirements
